Worship Church Designs

Last summer, I had the opportunity to work as the Graphic Designer and Event planner for my home church back in New Jersey called Worship Church. Here are some examples of the work I did throughout that summer:

Throughout the last year and a half, I have successfully completed multiple graphic design projects for my design classes and for the club Global Business Development Program that I was involved in. Here are a few of those projects to display the hard work and accomplishments throughout my time here at Liberty University:

Final Project: Infographic

The final project for this class consisted of two choices, and the one I chose to complete was create an infographic with a public service announcement. For my topic I chose human trafficking, and the first thing I did for this project was research statistics. I wanted to do a myth vs. fact layout so the first thing I did was sketch a very quick layout on how I wanted it to look. Then I began sketching different vectors I wanted to include on the poster. Overall, I think it came together nicely! Here are some pictures that include my sketching process as well as the final draft:

Children's Book Project

For our second project, the class was required to get into groups and create a children's book that would be sent overseas to Belize for kids learning how to read. My group decided to chose a story that was based on the importance of giving since we are heading into the Christmas season. Each of us had to create a spread as well as develop a character, so my character was a turtle. He had a problem with giving so the main character Bear told him to follow him so he could teach turtle about giving. Here are some sketches of my turtle as well as my spread, and then I included the final draft at the end.

This photo was used on the last page spread of the book

Photorealism Project: Raisinets

For this project, I was required to pick a Nestle brand product and recreate it in Illustrator as a vector image. This project taught me how to use the in and outs of the program Illustrator and really challenged me to take risks. I used the pen tool for most of the product as well as messing with gradient mesh and opacity to recreate a lot of the effects on the box and raisins. Here are some pictures of the steps I took in creating the project:
